Last Friday, I'd had a sandwich on my mind almost all day. Specifically a Jimmy John's sandwich. Specifically a #12 Beach Club sandwich, sans tomatoes and cucumbers. So naturally, like any Twitter-obsessed wannabe social media maven, I tweeted about my craving.
I didn't even tag Jimmy John's handle or formally "mention" them in my tweet. Just left it at that. Less than 10 minutes later...
And I didn't even tag them! Their social media team must be on point in monitoring any mention of the "freaky fast" sandwich chain online. I love that they sent me the direct link to order online. I opted to get my sandwich in-store since I had an errand to run anyway, but the thought was nice. It was a great sign of the "listening" aspect of the groundswell, and they had a little fun with it, too. Turns out their social media team is "freaky fast," too.
Four for you, Jimmy John's, you go, Jimmy John's!
Who do you think rocks their social media? Have you ever had an experience like this?
