This week, I'm going to give you a little help with the content planning. Here are ## ideas for awesome, engaging content that will keep your readers and customers coming back (and hopefully sharing it with their friends, too)!
Some of these are my own ideas, while I gathered some from other websites I follow.
- Repurpose "old" content and repost it. There's nothing wrong with freshening up an old post with a new spin!
- Your favorite (industry-related) blogs. Other people may read the same blogs/websites as you.
- Tips for time management. Everyone goes through busy stretches. How do you get through them?
- Share your work space with your readers. Give them a tour of your desk or office, or wherever you do most of your work.
- A day in the life at your office, in your role, on your team, etc.
- Your favorite resources for social media, marketing, business news and trends. How do you stay up to date on everything?
- 3 most popular posts of the month. Show them off again!
- Do you send out a newsletter? Share your tips for crafting a newsletter that everyone will love.
- What keeps you going on long work days? What's your 3:00 wakeup?
- Staying organized - share your best organization tips, for the home, the office, even specific desk drawers!
- Write a post that would be helpful for someone, a "how-to" post.
- Get in front of a camera and post a vlog.
- Your role models, heroes, inspirations - to whom do you look up?
- Write about your weekly or monthly goals.
- Do you, or does anyone in your office/company get asked a lot of questions? Write a "Frequently Asked Questions" post.
- Profile someone in your office or on your team.
- Open up for a guest post.
- Share a favorite inspirational or motivational quote (or a quote you just really like) and talk about it. Why do you like it? What does it mean to you?
- Are you a productivity junkie? Share your tips! How do you stay productive? See #3.
- People you should be following on Twitter. Who are your favorite follows?
- Offer advice to people just getting started in your field/industry. What do you wish you knew when you were first starting?
